Clock tower and pond

Work will be starting on Monday, 30th November to replace the old wooden bollards (many of which are damaged or missing) around the Clock Tower, before moving onto clearance and repair of the pond and the subsequent addition of a new fence.

Work is expected to take two to three weeks, during which time there may be some disruption to parking and access, but this will be kept to a minimum and localised on a rolling basis to avoid any need to close the roads.

The funding for this has been provided by Mick George.

In the New Year, further work on the repair and painting of the Clock Tower, together with a general upgrade of the area will be undertaken by your Parish Council.

  1. Well done as the Clock Tower is such a focal point of the village but it needs regular treatment on the weeds that blight it.
